How to replace the primary cam gear and timing chain on 2008 Buick LaCrosse?

In order to replace timing chain and sprockets, one should start improving engine front cover. Following this, remove the right bank secondary camshaft and Timing Chain Tensioner, then right bank secondary camshaft timing chain shoe and guide. The next step is to remove the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain. Then remove the Timing Chain Tensioner and as well as the upper Timing Chain Guide then you remove the primary camshaft timing chain. For the installation, you will install in the order: the primary camshaft timing chain, then the primary upper Timing Chain Guide, and the Timing Chain Tensioner. Proceed and install the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain, the right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Guide, the right bank secondary camshaft timing chain shoe, and subsequently, right bank secondary camshaft Timing Chain Tensioner. Finish by replacing the engine front cover.
