You must remove the intake manifold cover before starting with the replacement of the oil level indicator and tube. First step is to extract the oil level indicator while you proceed to loosen its tube nut before carefully pulling upward to extract the tube. Place the bottom O-ring seal correctly before applying clean engine oil to it for lubrication during installation. Seating the indicator tube requires driving it down into the engine block hole after you position the tube bracket against the nut. The oil level indicator tube should be tightened to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).
