  A: The service process for exhaust system insulation and hanger and bracket starts by raising and supporting the vehicle. Before proceeding apply suitable lubrication to the exhaust hanger rod to simplify removal. After that remove the exhaust hanger to the rear suspension support bracket bolt. First lubricate the hanger rod of the rear exhaust before pulling it out from the tail pipe hanger rod and then unscrew the rear exhaust hanger to hanger bracket nut. Description for installation includes applying soap to both the rear hanger rod and the rear exhaust hanger inner diameter followed by hanger rod insertion into the tail pipe hanger rod then positioning the hanger rod within the rear exhaust hanger bracket. The rear exhaust hanger should be attached to hanger bracket nut until torque reaches 30 N.m and maintains 22 lb ft. A soapy solution should be applied to the exhaust pipe hanger rod and inner diameter of the center exhaust hanger before you press the exhaust hanger section over the rod and fasten it to the rear suspension support bracket bolt while torquing it to 30 N.m (22 lb ft) before finally lowering the vehicle.
