How to replace the blower motor on 2008 Cadillac STS?

Before replacing the blower motor you need to disassemble the right closeout insulator panel and instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Detach both electrical connectors of the blower motor and blower motor processor. To make room for the blower motor replacement remove its screws plus the air inlet housing bolts. Begin motor replacement by fitting in the blower unit and tightening stainless steel screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in). After you install the air inlet housing bolts into place, ensure they reach the torque value of 6 N.m (53 lb in). Fit in the blower motor accessories and link both its electrical connections and the blower motor connector. Restall the I/P component and the right protective panel to complete the installation.
