2009 Cadillac STS Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the blower motor on 2009 Cadillac STS?
A: You must begin by taking off the blower motor's insulator panel on its right side. After that, you can unwind the instrument panel compartment. Loosen the connections for both the blower motor electrical and processor electrical wires. Take off screws attaching both the blower motor assembly and air inlet housing to make space for removing the blower motor. Insert the new blower motor into its opening while keeping track of fastener safety rules. Fasten the blower motor in place using screws tightened to 1.5 Nm (13 lb in) tension and air inlet housing bolts tight at 6 Nm (53 lb in). Install the two electrical connectors back onto the blower motor processor component and the blower motor unit. Reinstall the I/P compartment and the right closeout insulator panel at the end of the process.
