2010 Cadillac STS Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the blower motor on 2010 Cadillac STS?
A: Start the blower motor replacement by removing both the right closeout insulator panel and the instrument panel compartment. Unplug the electrical connection to both the blower motor and blower motor processor. Take off screws that attach the blower motor and air inlet housing to create enough space for motor removal. Replace the new blower motor into the passage using fastener safety recommendations. Secure the blower motor by tightening its screws to 1.5 Nm (13 lb in) force. Attach the air inlet housing bolts to 6 Nm (53 lb in). Plug back in both power sources of the blower motor. Place the right compartment back in place alongside the closing insulator panel.
