How to Replace an A/C Hose in an Air Conditioning Compressor on 2010 Cadillac STS?

Prior to replacing the air conditioning compressor hose (LLT) it is necessary to recover all refrigerant. Start by uninstalling the air cleaner assembly followed by vehicle lifting and wheel supports then disconnecting the lh wheel and tire. The service requires removal of two parts: engine splash shield and suction hose bolt located at the compressor. Lower the vehicle and then detach the suction hose retaining screw that holds the suction hose composite to clamp-type or bracket-type components. Separating the liquid line from the clamp-type integration with the a/c suction line bracket. Move to the bulkhead where you will take off the suction hose quick connect fitting but leave the suction hose connected to the Evaporator core and then remove the hose from the vehicle after discarding its o-ring seals. First install new o-rings into the suction hose then mount the hose before connecting it to the Evaporator core. Place and tighten the suction hose retaining screw to 1 nm (9 lb in) after properly installing the suction hose quick connect fitting into position. Lift the car then link the suction hose to the compressor while securing the retaining bolt to 9.8 nm (87 lb in). After installing the engine splash shield and lh wheel with its tire you can lower the vehicle. The procedure concludes by adding the air cleaner assembly followed by evacuation and recharging of the refrigerant system while using j 39400-a to inspect component fitting leaks.
