The first task to perform before replacing the hvac system discharge hose (LY7 - Gas, 6 CYL, 3.6L, SFI, V6, Alum) is to recover all refrigerant. Raise and support the vehicle following refrigerant recovery. Begin the process by removing the air deflector as well as both lh wheel and tire and engine splash shield. First remove the bolt that connects the discharge hose to the compressor and use this opportunity to divide the hose between the compressor and the discharge hose.
