  The condenser replacement for heavy-duty cooling systems needs a refrigerant recovery process as the initial step. Measure the newly installed fittings with a halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) for leaks. Start by taking out the Power Steering Cooler mounting bolts before raising your vehicle for support. Start by taking off the front air deflector retainers with the front air deflector and continue by removing the lower air baffle push pin retainers. Start by removing the upper bolts from the condenser bracket then the lower mounting bolts. Unbolt the discharge line and separate it from the condenser while discarding the o-ring. Disassemble the condenser tube bolt to disconnect the tube from the condenser unit while throwing away the o-ring. Move the Power Steering Cooler to the side for access to remove the condenser. When installing a new condenser add pag oil according to the specified amount directly to the condenser's chamber. Position the Power Steering Cooler before placing the new condenser into position. Fit a fresh o-ring to the condenser tube before connecting the tube to the condenser using a condenser tube bolt with torque set to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Attach a new o-ring to the discharge line before connecting it to the condenser and tightening it with the discharge line bolt up to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Begin by fastening the condenser lower mounting bolts to 5.4 n.m (48 lb in) torque and then torque the upper bracket bolts to the same value. Install the lower air deflector push pin retainers followed by the front air deflector and its retainers. After lowering the vehicle put in the Power Steering Cooler mounting bolts. The a/c system evacuation and recharging process should end by conducting fitting leak tests through the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).
