The procedure for Power Steering Cooler replacement on lh2 or ly7 with v92 requires a vehicle lift and support position along with removal of the front air deflector and placement of a drain pan under the vehicle. Disassemble the Power Steering Cooler by removing bolts from its brackets and disconnect the power steering lines from the cooler unit to take out the cooler. The installation process requires the Power Steering Cooler placement followed by power steering line connection and bolt tightening to 9 nm (80 inch lbs.). Finally drain the pan then return the front air deflector before lowering the vehicle while performing power steering system bleeding procedures.
