The first step to replace the Power Steering Cooler (LY7 W/O V92) requires vehicle elevation and support. The first step involves removing the front air deflector followed by placing an underneath drain pan under the vehicle. The procedure starts by disconnecting power steering lines from the Power Steering Cooler while removing its bolts from the Power Steering Cooler brackets to extract the cooler from the vehicle. Reposition the Power Steering Cooler on the vehicle then join the power steering lines. Secure the Power Steering Cooler bolts on the brackets by using a torque of 9 n.m (80 lb in). Finish by taking away the drain pan followed by putting back the front air deflector and lowering the vehicle while performing power steering system bleeds.
