How to replace the HVAC control module on 2010 Cadillac STS?

The HVAC control module replacement requires initial removal of both the ashtray and radio. Initiate replacement of the HVAC control module by removing its retaining screws then disconnecting the electrical connectors. Install the new module after you detach the HVAC control module then connect all electrical connectors. Use 2 Nm of torque force (18 lb in) while tightening the module retaining screws. Reinstall the radio as well as the ashtray. Users should refer to the Control Module References for information about programming and setup.
