How to replace the Rear Ride Height Sensor on 2008 Cadillac STS?

A correct replacement of the Electronic Suspension Rear Position Sensor demands that technicians both raise and support the vehicle. Remove the tire and wheel. Pull out the ride sensor link which connects the ball stud at the upper control arm and the ride sensor harness terminal. Remove the rear ride sensor by first loosening its retaining nut while using gentle taps on the rear ride sensor retaining stud to separate it from the frame connection. The sensor must be placed inside the vehicle while verifying that the fastener reaches its lowest position on the keyhole before rotating the sensor-bracket assembly until the bracket slot receives the entire tab. The sensor bracket needs rotation until it reaches proper level position. Connect the rear ride height sensor retaining nut with 9 N.m (80 lb in) torque value. The installation process includes joining the ride sensor harness connector to its dedicated pin on the controlling ball stud of the upper control arm.
