How to replace the rear suspension sway bar link on 2008 Cadillac STS?

Beginning the replacement of the Sway Bar Link in the rear suspension starts by lifting and securing the vehicle. Remove the tire and wheel. To protect the link seal one should use a hex tool when holding the Sway Bar Link stud. You should start by removing the Sway Bar Link retaining nuts before separating the Sway Bar Link both from the sway bar and the lower Control Arm. Insert the Sway Bar Link into the lower Control Arm before connecting it to the sway bar while using a hex tool to maintain stability of the Sway Bar Link stud. Fasten the Sway Bar Link retaining nuts before tightening them to 90 n.m (67 lb ft). After lowering the vehicle complete the installation process by putting back the tire along with the wheel.
