  A: The a/c system demands refrigerant recovery before starting the replacement of the A/C Compressor hose assembly. Remove the bolt on the a/c condenser fitting and separate the hose assembly from the fitting, discard the sealing washer and protect the a/c condenser fitting with a cap and tape.
