  A: Recover all refrigerant before starting the replacement of the compressor hose assembly. The radiator support must be removed while you document how the ducts of the A/C Compressor hose assembly should be routed between compressor and condenser. Secure the exposed parts of the a/c system to prevent contamination. Secondly remove the A/C Compressor hose assembly bolt that secures the fitting to the a/c condenser. Then disconnect the hose assembly while discarding its sealing washer and capping the a/c condenser fitting. The hose assembly receives two separate connector and outlet tube removal procedures. First disconnect the tube connector from evaporator outlet tube and hose assembly then remove the tube outlet from the same assembly and apply an outlet cap. The right front tire and wheel must be removed while suspending the vehicle. After that the hose assembly retaining nut must be removed. Detach the hose assembly from the A/C Compressor while removing both sealing washers and applying caps to the compressor. Hold the Power Steering Pump aside then lower the car before extracting the hose assembly. The new hose assembly needs to be placed inside the vehicle followed by reinstalling the Power Steering Pump. Using a hoist system lift the vehicle before unsticking the tape or cap from the A/C Compressor where you should insert two new sealing washers onto the compressor hose assembly. The hose assembly should be connected to the A/C Compressor while maintaining a tight retention nut torque of 20 nm (15 lb ft). Reposition the right front wheel and tire assembly after the vehicle is lowered and then take away coverage from the evaporator outlet tube. Fasten new o-rings onto the evaporator outlet tube followed by installation of the tube to the hose assembly . Start by attaching the a/c tube connector to the evaporator outlet tube along with hose assembly. After stripping the evaporator outlet tube cap or tape you must attach the new washer to the compressor hose assembly before connecting it to the a/c condenser fitting. Reattach the radiator support after torquing the A/C Compressor hose assembly bolt to 16 nm (12 lb ft). Then recharge the a/c system followed by a fitting leak test using j 39400-a.
