Start by removing steering column trims before you set the Ignition Lock Cylinder to the run stage. The Ignition Lock Cylinder contains two retainers which need to be depressed prior to removal. Pivot the two retainers by depressing them to extract the housing component. Depress the first retainer through the lock housing access hole by using a small allen wrench or similar tool. This action makes the lock cylinder back out slightly. Push the lock housing access hole's second retainer to pull the cylinder backwards.
