How to replace the fuel injector on 2008 Chevrolet Impala?

First uninstall the Fuel Rail before disconnecting the Fuel Injector retaining clip so you can remove the Fuel Injector from the Fuel Rail. While removing the Fuel Injector upper o-ring and lower o-ring you must handle the electrical connector pins and nozzles with care and prevent putting the Fuel Injector into any cleaning fluids. Notice and evaluate leakages since they might lead to engine oil contamination with fuel. The installation process requires verifying the Fuel Injector assembly by its part number during identification. Clean engine oil must be used during o-ring (2,4) lubrication before installing first the upper o-ring followed by the lower o-ring . The installation process requires attaching the Fuel Injector to the Fuel Rail and fixing it with the retaining clip before reattaching the Fuel Rail.
