How to replace the rear brake calipers on 2008 GMC Envoy?

Before you can start the task you must lift the car off the ground and take out the tire and wheel unit. Afterwards poke a plug into the brake hose opening while you take out the bolt that connects the brake caliper to the rear brake hose. Take out both copper gaskets from the brake hose bolt. Pull out the caliper mounting bolts from the back tire bracket and take off the rear brake caliper. When using the brake caliper guide pin again soak it with denatured alcohol then pass compressed filtered air over it to dry. Depose high temperature silicone brake lubricant onto the guide pin but keep it away from brake pad parts. Use a torque tool to fasten the brake caliper mounting bracket to its position and tighten the guide pins to 31 N.m (23 lb ft). Insert new copper gaskets onto brake hose bolt then take off plug on the brake hose end and bolt brake hose to rear brake caliper until tightness reaches 40 N.m (30 lb ft). After bleeding the brake system put on the tire wheel and let the vehicle return to its normal position.
