How to replace the rear brake caliper bracket on 2009 Cadillac CTS?

Start service by elevating and holding the vehicle right. Then take off the tire and wheel from the back. Before removing guide pin bolts hold up the brake caliper with heavy mechanic wire to shield the hydraulic brake hose when you use a back up wrench on guide pins. Take out the brake caliper plus brake pads from inside and outside with their springs. Take off the Brake Caliper Bracket by removing its upper and lower bolts and inspect its brake parts afterward. First install the Brake Caliper Bracket into place. Apply threadlocker gm p/n 12345493 (Canada P/N 10953488) to the bottom 2/3 of caliper bracket bolt threads before coating them with denatured alcohol and allowing it to cure for 10 minutes. Start with weak bolts for both brackets before securely tightening them to 135 nm (100 lb ft). Place the Brake Pad springs, both brake pads inside and out while securing the threaded parts with thread locker following previous steps. Place the brake caliper onto the brackets afterward put on a back up wrench to screw guide pin bolts through brake caliper guide pins until they reach 60 nm (44 lb ft).
