  A: Start your right side Catalytic Converter replacement by extracting the right bank exhaust manifold heat shield. Hand-nut removal from the Catalytic Converter is followed by a vehicle lift and support process. The front driveshaft must be removed when awd is present in the vehicle. Separate both the electrical connector for the Oxygen Sensor and the muffler pipe from their connections to the left and right side catalytic converters. Separate the Exhaust Pipe fasteners which attach to the right bank Catalytic Converter before carefully extracting the Catalytic Converter assembly with seal/heat shield and Oxygen Sensor from the exhaust manifold into the discard pile. Extract the Oxygen Sensor through the Catalytic Converter removal.
