How to replace the harmonic balancer on 2009 Cadillac XLR?

In order to fit the crankshaft balancer, disconnect the belts required, and lift up the vehicle. Take out the power stearing gear and starter motor. Take necessary tools to install and strip out the balancer taking care not to lose the friction washer. Install parts and bring the vehicle down.
