Replacement of the input speed sensor requires users to disconnect both the Battery Cable and electrical connector from the input shaft speed (ISS) sensor. First remove the retaining bolt for the iss sensor before extracting it from the transaxle. The o-ring requires a pre-installment treatment with isu dexron iii before you fit a new o-ring onto the iss sensor. Installation begins with securing the iss sensor through a retaining bolt tightened to 5 nm (44 lb in). Following this, reconnect the iss sensor electrical connector. Reconnect the negative Battery Cable as the final installation step.
