First step to replace the input speed sensor is to disconnect the negative Battery Cable. First disconnect the iss sensor electrical connector and remove the sensor retaining bolt and remove the iss sensor from the transaxle. Follow this step by applying isu dexron iii to thesensor's o-ring then place a fresh o-ring onto the iss sensor. Secure the iss sensor to the transaxle by using the retaining bolt then apply 5nm (44lb in) of torque. The next step involves connecting the iss sensor electrical connector followed by reattaching the negative Battery Cable.
