How to replace the Lash Adjusters on 2009 Chevrolet Equinox?

Start the valve lifter replacement by removing the valve Rocker Arm cover and then lowering the Intake Manifold before taking off the valve rocker arms and pushrods. Remove the lifter guide bolts and the lifter guide while keeping the valve lifters in order for reinstallment. After that, remove the lifters. Before installing valve lifters apply prelube gm p/n 1052367 (Canadian P/N 992869) or equivalent to the components then place them back to their original positions. Reinstall the lifter guide by applying threadlock product gm p/n 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or an equivalent to the lifter guide bolt threads then tighten bolts to 10 nm (89 lb in). Proceed with the valve rocker arms and pushrods installation after which install the lower Intake Manifold followed by the valve Rocker Arm cover. Finally, inspect for leaks.
