How to replace the engine oil pressure switch on 2009 Chevrolet Equinox?

Users need to elevate and sustain the vehicle during engine oil pressure sensor and switch installation. First disconnect the wire from the oil pressure indicator switch electrical connector before removing the switch from the engine block. Follow the correct part number instructions to apply sealer to the oil pressure indicator switch threads. Tighten the installed oil pressure indicator switch to a torque of 16 Nm (12 lb ft). To complete the procedure reconnect the oil pressure indicator switch electrical connector then lower the vehicle.
