How to replace the engine mount on 2009 Chevrolet HHR?

A person will need to remove the air cleaner assembly with the windshield washer solvent reservoir before starting to replace the Engine Mount. The hydraulic floor jack needs a wooden spacer to support the engine while resting on the Oil Pan. Start by disconnecting the Engine Mount to bracket bolts while you also remove Engine Mount to side rail nuts before pulling out the Engine Mount from the engine compartment. Put the Engine Mount on the side rail studs while observing all fastener precautions. Fasten the Engine Mount to its side rail nuts while tightening each nut to 100 nm (74 lb ft). Start the Engine Mount to bracket bolts manually while avoiding any prying actions that would misalign the holes before tightening them to 65 nm (48 lb ft). Finish the operation by removing the hydraulic floor jack from under the Oil Pan and reinstall the windshield washer solvent reservoir followed by installing the air cleaner assembly.
