How to replace the engine mount on 2010 Chevrolet HHR?

A replacement of the Engine Mount requires that you disassemble the air cleaner assembly and the windshield washer solvent reservoir. A hydraulic floor jack with wood spacer should support the engine while working on the Oil Pan. Take out the Engine Mount from the engine compartment by first removing the Engine Mount to bracket bolts and the Engine Mount to side rail nuts. Place the Engine Mount onto side rail studs by installing it to side rail nuts while tightening them to 100 nm (74 lb ft). Professional installation requires starting the Engine Mount to bracket bolts manually without forcing the mount to achieve proper hole alignment. Tighten the Engine Mount to bracket bolts from middle to rear to front at 50 nm (37 lb ft) torque. Complete the procedure by eliminating the floor jack supporting the Oil Pan followed by reinstallation of the air cleaner assembly together with the windshield washer solvent reservoir.
