How to replace the left side engine mount on 2009 GMC Canyon?

Start the left side Engine Mount replacement by detaching the wheel combined with the tire component. First remove the engine shield when it is present. After that step you should remove the lower intermediate Steering Shaft. Use a jack stand coupled with a wood piece to support the engine. Begin by dislodging the through bolt from the mount being replaced on the Engine Mount-to-frame bracket and thereafter slacken the right side through bolt. Disconnect the heater pipe bracket bolt which secures the Engine Mount. Before removing the Engine Mount raise the engine with a jack stand while the stand tilts one side and afterward utilize articulation to take out the mount by removing its bolts. The installation process requires you to articulate the mount for placement before installing the Engine Mount with its bolts starting from position number one while tightening bolts using 50 nm (37 lb ft) torque. Drive the engine downward while installing the Engine Mount-to-frame bracket through bolt until it achieves 85 nm (63 lb ft) torque. First replace the Engine Mount bolt that holds the engine coolant pipe bracket and afterward remove the jack stand and finally install the lower intermediate Steering Shaft. Conclude the installation by replacing both the engine shield and wheel and tire assembly when equipped.
