How to replace the right side engine mount on 2010 GMC Canyon?

The first step to replace the right side engine mount involves removing the wheel assembly with tire. Engine shield should be removed when present. You should first support the engine with a jack stand and wood block after which you need to remove the through bolt from the engine mount-to-frame bracket which is being replaced. Use the jack stand to lift the engine with a through bolt removed from the left side then swing it toward one direction vertically. First detach the bolts secured to the engine mount then take out the mount itself by making necessary adjustments during the removal process. Install the mount by articulating it during installation and proceed with engine mount bolt tightening. Begin by starting the first bolt at its position and finalize all bolt torques at 50 Nm (37 lb ft). Lower the engine before installing the engine mount-to-frame bracket through bolt and torquing it to 85 Nm (63 lb ft). After removing the jack stand you should reinstall the engine shield if present then replace the wheel and tire assembly.
