How to replace the upper control arm on 2009 GMC Envoy?

To remove the upper Control Arm; raise and support the vehicle, do away with the tire and the wheel. Unbolt and remove the upper Ball Joint to upper Control Arm Bolt and nut, separating the upper Control Arm from the Steering Knuckle. Remove the upper Control Arm wheel speed sensor wiring harness. During servicing the left upper Control Arm, do remove battery tray. With a pry bar gently pry out on the inner body panel of the fender to gain access to the bolt that faces the front, then remove the upper Control Arm mounting bolts and arm. For installation, place the new upper Control Arm and try to pry out on the inner fender so as to have a space to maneuver the forward facing bolt. Replace the upper Control Arm mounting bolts and tighten to 146 nm (108 lb ft). If removal of the battery tray took place, do so with reinstallation. Attach abs wheel speed sensor wiring harness to the upper Control Arm, attach the upper Control Arm to upper Control Arm to Steering Knuckle and installing a new upper ball join to upper Control Arm Bolt and nut, tighten the bolt to 41 nm (30 lb ft). Replace the tire and wheel, raise the vehicle, and test the front wheel alignment.
