How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2010 Cadillac DTS?

To replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor one has first remove the Intake Manifold. Siz the process by first pulling off the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor wiring harness electrical connector, followed by the removal of the ckp sensor bolt, and finally the ckp sensor itself. Soak the crankshaft sensor o-ring seal in clean engine oil, and then install the ckp sensor. Install the ckp sensor bolt snugly with only a torque of 10 nm (89 lb in). Rehouse the ckp sensor wiring harness electrical connector onto the ckp sensor and reinstall the Intake Manifold. Finally, conduct the ckp system variation learn procedure.
