To start you must remove the wiring harness heat shield from the oil level indicator tube to reach internal components before disconnecting the KS electrical connector. The KS bolt must be removed to fully retrieve the KS. Install the new KS in its designated spot but always follow manufacturer guidelines for fastener use followed by bolt installation and torque to a 23 Nm (17 lb ft) value. After supporting the vehicle, reattach the KS electrical connector and reinstall the wiring harness heat shield on top of the oil level indicator tube before placing the vehicle down.
