A technician should begin by taking out the Flywheel for crankshaft rear oil seal replacement. Using any tool to touch the crankshaft outside diameter or the chamber walls risks causing damage. Detach the crankshaft rear oil seal from its spot using a flat-bladed tool. When installing the crankshaft rear oil seal use the rear main seal installer (J 42067) along with new crankshaft rear oil seal parts before reattaching the Flywheel.
