2010 Chevrolet Impala Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Battery Sensor for RPOs LZE/LZ4/LGD on 2010 Chevrolet Impala?
A: Start replacement of the battery current sensor by detaching the instrument panel (I/P) harness electrical connector from the sensor and taking out the positive and negative battery leads. Remove the battery current sensor from the positive Battery Cable branches by cutting the tie straps and electrical tape while ensuring you note its location before detachment. Remove the battery current sensor from its placement on the Battery Cable. After inserting the tape tab towards the positive battery terminal position the new battery current sensor onto the wire. Fasten the battery current sensor with new tie straps and electric tape onto the positive Battery Cable before replacing both battery cables and connecting the i/p harness electrical connection to the sensor.
