2010 Chevrolet Impala Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on 2010 Chevrolet Impala?
A: Before installing a new Camshaft Position Sensor, take off the Power Steering Pump. Take off the cmp sensor's bolt, followed by the cmp sensor, after you disconnect its electrical connector. If you're not changing the sensor, check the o-ring for any signs of wear, cracks, or leaks. When the o-ring is damaged, change it and lightly grease the new o-ring with engine oil before putting the cmp sensor in. After fitting the cmp sensor bolt and tightening it to 10 nm (89 lb in), go ahead and connect the cmp sensor's electrical connector. In the end, put the Power Steering Pump back into place.
