How to replace the MAP Sensor on 2010 Chevrolet Impala?

Beginning the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor replacement requires removal of the intake manifold cover. First disconnect the MAP sensor electrical cable then also remove the spark plug wire locking clip from the intake manifold mounting bracket. Start your replacement by removing upper intake manifold bolts before extracting the MAP sensor and bracket and then removing the MAP sensor seal from the upper intake manifold. The MAP sensor installation requires placement of the MAP sensor seal inside the upper intake manifold before adding the MAP sensor and bracket. Tighten the upper intake manifold bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb ft) then reconnect the spark plug wire clip to the intake manifold bracket when necessary. As the final step connect the MAP sensor electrical connector before putting on the intake manifold cover.
