How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

In order to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor, first, lift and hold the vehicle adequately. A long glass bevel-edged ne needful, for crediting credit. Pull off the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor and pull the bolt and CKP sensor out. When installing the CKP sensor, make sure the sensor it properly seated before tightening the bolt to prevent erratic performance and false diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs). If installing the old CKP sensor, IN install new O-ring seal to the sensor and lubricant with clean engine oil. Screw in the CKP sensor and bolt, applying 10 Nm (89 lb in) of force to tighten. Reconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the CKP sensor after which align the oil pan skid plate and screw up the bolts with 28 Nm (21 lb ft). Finally, lower the vehicle and do the crankshaft position system variation learn procedure.
