How to replace the positive battery cable from the 12V battery to the auxiliary BEC on 2010 GMC Sierra 1500?

The first procedure during battery positive cable replacement from the 12V battery to the auxiliary BEC calls for disconnecting the negative battery cable. The positive battery cable insulating cover should be slid to an opening on top of the positive terminal. The lever lock needs turned counterclockwise to detach the positive battery cable terminal so the cable can be removed from the battery. You should remove both the auxiliary bussed electrical center cover as well as the underhood junction block cover. The junction block retainers should be lifted from their locked position into an opened position before the junction block is removed. Adopt an open position for junction block retainers then place the junction block correctly on 4 bracket pivots and complete the installation by lowering the retainers into their locked position. The installation requires connecting the underhood junction block cover together with the auxiliary BEC cover and the positive battery cable terminal to the battery. Insert the lever lock in a clockwise motion to activate the click sound that indicates a secure connection of the positive battery cable. Place the positive battery cable insulating cover over the terminal, while completing the process by reattaching the negative battery cable.
