  The Wiper Linkage Separator tool part number J 39232 and the Wiper Linkage Installer tool part number J 39529 are necessary to service and repair the wiper motor. Start your work by taking off the wiper arms and the air inlet front grille. Remove the windshield frame reinforcement by taking out its three bolts and two nuts first. Manually turn the transmission linkage to push the wiper motor arm from its parked position into the opposite direction. Push the wiper motor and hash through the plenum hole after disconnecting both parts from the connector. Uninstall the wiper system drive module by removing its three holding screws and exiting through the vehicle. Apply the Wiper Linkage Separator (J 39232) tool to disconnect the drive link from the wiper motor crank arm before taking out the screws that secure the wiper motor. Remove the wiper motor from the wiper drive system module. Install the wiper motor by attaching it to the wiper drive system module with screws and tighten them to 8 N.m. Turn the wiper drive link with Wiper Linkage Installer model J 39529 onto the wiper motor crank arm. Lower the wiper module into the upper plenum with the motor facing down, then rotate the motor to face back. Secure the wiper drive system unit with three screws and tighten them to 80 inch-pounds. Road the harness and grommet from the plenum hole and insert both pieces when connecting the wiper motor harness. Total the windshield frame reinforcement into place using three bolts and two nuts while tightening them to 80 pounds-inches then add back the air inlet grille and wiper arms. Before you finish test that the wipers work as intended.
