The first step to replace the Automatic Level Control Sensor and Bracket entails raising the vehicle. Start by disconnecting the height sensor connector from both vehicle harness components before removing the height sensor harness clip and its connector attached to the vehicle. Detect the link from the height sensor actuating arm next disconnect and remove the two bolts which fasten the height sensor bracket to the vehicle. The bracket can be separated from the height sensor with four nuts removed. Secure the bracket against the height sensor using four nuts which should be tightened to 3 Nm (26 inch lbs.). First tighten the two bolts securing the height sensor with bracket into the vehicle up to 11 Nm (97 inch lbs.). The installation ends with linking up the height sensor actuating arm before attaching the height sensor harness clip and its connector to the vehicle body. Fit the height sensor connector into the vehicle harness connector while simultaneously lowering the vehicle to perform height sensor adjustment steps.
