To get a Throttle Body assembly replace off, to begin with, turn off the ignition and drain the radiator coolant. Take off the fuel injector sight shield, then unplug the intake
Air Temperature Sensor electric connector from the intake Air Temperature Sensor. Later on, pull the intake air duct from the Throttle Body, as well as pull the idle air control (IAC) valve electrical connector from the iac valve, the throttle position (TP) sensor electrical connector from the tp sensor, and the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector from the maf sensor. Remove the cruise control cable from the accelerator control cable bracket and the accelerator controls cable from the same bracket. Then, take out cruise control cable and the accelerater controls cable from the Throttle Body lever. If necessary, the electrical harness retainer clip to the accelerator controls cable bracket and vacuum hoses from the Throttle Body will then be removed, making a note of their positions. Take off the nut to air injection pipe if applicable, exhaust crossovers from the supercharger and 3 nuts and bolts that hold the Throttle Body to supercharger. When you remove the Throttle Body assembly, then remove the accelerator control cable bracket if you are replacing the Throttle Body and clean the gasket surface on both the supercharger and the Throttle Body assembly. For installation, check the accelerator controls bracket on to Throttle Body, if it is necessary, fastening the screws to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Replace a new gasket, new inserts, and the studs if necessary, then installing the Throttle Body assembly and locking it with the retaining nuts and bolts by tighten to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Replace the crossover exhaust and vacuum hoses onto the Throttle Body. Hook the accelerator controls cable to the accelerator controls cable bracket at the Throttle Body, and the cruise control cable to the accelerator control bracket at the Throttle Body. Check that the throttle must be free running without binding from full closed throttle to wide open throttle and attach the accelerator control cable to the Throttle Body lever and the cruise control cable to the Throttle Body lever . Check for full throttle opening or full throttle closing using accelerator controls pedal, and make sure there will no poor carpet fitting under accelerator controls pedal. Install, if applicable, the electrical harness, retainer clip, harness onto the accelerator controls bracket and reconnect the maf sensor electrical connector to the maf sensor, the tp sensor electrical connector to the tp sensor, and the iac valve electrical connector to the iac valve. Installing the intake air duct, secure the clamp to 2 n.m (18 lb in) and then linking the iat sensor electrical connector to the iat sensor. Lastly, add back radiator to bring back the lost coolant and insert the fuel injector sight shield.
