How to service the EGR valve on Buick Rendezvous?

Service of the EGR Valve begins by switching off the ignition then removing the electrical connector connected to the valve. After disconnecting the transaxle fluid filler tube you should remove the bolt retaining the pipe assembly from the EGR Valve while gently pulling the pipe assembly backward. Begin by removing both EGR Valve retaining bolts and continue by taking out the EGR Valve assembly and then perform removal of the gasket. The mating surface of the EGR Valve requires cleaning before placing the new gasket alongside installing the valve to the Intake Manifold. Thread the EGR Valve bolts before tightening them to 30 n.m (22 lb ft) and assemble the pipe to the valve by fastening a bolt to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Finish the process by putting back the transaxle fluid filler tube followed by reattaching the EGR Valve electrical connector.
