  A diagnostic system check should always be conducted before starting the Ride Height Sensor replacement. The first step requires vehicle elevation while it receives support. Unplug the ride height sensor electrical connector from its location then extract the sensor link from the ball stud of the lower control arm. Remove the ride height sensor bracket bolts from their respective positions so you can take out both sensor and bracket from the vehicle. Disconnect the sensor link from the ball stud on the height sensor arm. To install the ride height sensor link users must connect it first to the height sensor arm before reattaching the sensor with its bracket to the vehicle. Attach the ride height sensor bracket by tightening the bolts to 85 Nm (63 ft. lbs.). Connect the ride height sensor link to the ball stud on the lower control arm and connect the electrical connector afterward. To finalize the process you must decrease the vehicle height before conducting a diagnostic system evaluation.
