How to replace the Door Lock Cylinder (with UA2) on Cadillac CTS?

Installation of ua2 door lock cylinders begins by moving the window to the fully upward position followed by removing the door trims and Door Handle outside parts. The water deflector needs to be pushed away from the door rear to reach the outside Door Handle before the handle can be taken out. Begin by removing the e-clip from the lock cylinder then proceed to remove the lock rod together with the arm. A suitable prying tool helps remove the roll pins by using it to pierce between the reinforcement and roll pin while pulling it downwards before grasping the outside end with pliers to complete removal. A drift punch is required to eliminate the last roll pin. You need to remove the lock cylinder which exists inside the Door Handle's rear side. When adding a new lock cylinder adopt the correct key and lock cylinder coding process before installing. Lock cylinder insertion into Door Handle cavity needs to be followed by adding roll pin installation and securing lock cylinder arm and rod using the e-clip. Afterward put back the outside Door Handle along with the water deflector before reinstalling the door trim panel.
