How to replace the rear side door window channel on Cadillac CTS?

The replacement of rear side door window front channels requires beginning by closing the window completely before taking out the door trim panel and water deflector. Proceed by loosening the lower bolt followed by upper bolt removal before rotating the top segment of the front window channel forward to lift upward until the lower bolt leaves its keyhole slot for taking out the front channel from the door. The installation process begins with inserting the door front window channel by placing its top end first before you insert the lower bolt into the keyhole slot. The rear end of the front window channel needs to rotate toward its rear position to achieve alignment with the window base before installing the upper bolt and torquing both fasteners to 9 Nm (80 lb in). The installation process ends with replacement of the water deflector followed by the door trim panel.
