The service procedure requires careful separation of the ABSCM from the BPMV by first eliminating the front insulator with its bolt until the 2 upper ABSCM to BPMV bolts are removed while avoiding direct ABSCM-BPMV separation with force. Proceed with installing the front insulator along with its mounting bolt then tighten the fastener to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.) before screwing the 3 assembly bracket nuts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.). After installing the air deflector shield together with left front fascia extension lower the vehicle. The ABS Diagnostic System Check should be executed after you install the ABSCM electrical connector with tab locked down and then tighten the 2 upper ABSCM to BPMV bolts to 5 Nm (40 inch lbs.).
