Reassemble the washer with spacer and striker where the striker should be placed on the lock pillar with the wedge narrow end facing outward. Apply sufficient tightening force to 27 N.m (20 lb ft) when you fasten the striker. You should take off the mini-wedge door striker aligner (J 39346-A) and apply body color paint to every unpainted portion of the lock pillar that is exposed.
