  • Q: How to service and repair the Brake Pedal Assembly on Cadillac Escalade?
    A: The service process begins with disconnecting the battery negative cable and disabling the sir system. Remove the electrical connector from the stoplamp switch and separate the Pushrod retainer, stoplamp switch, Pushrod, nut, Brake Pedal bolt, bushings and spacer. Place the Brake Pedal into position first and then put on the spacer then bushings. Secure and tighten the bolt to 47 nm by turning the nut 35 times. Insert the Pushrod and connect the electrical connector to the stoplamp switch before placing on the Pushrod retainer. At the end put sir in use and join the battery power wire.
