For body-mounted rear door striker replacement start by taking off the upper garnish trim panel followed by removing the striker screws to extract the striker. Proceed by mounting the new striker on the vehicle while following the Fastener Notice from Service Precautions. Reinstall the upper garnish trim panel after securing the striker screws which should be tightened to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
